  • Habitat: Sheltered places, in poor soil or growing as an epiphyte or lithophyte.

  • Description: Leaves are covered by peduncular mucilaginous glands which entrap the prey and petiole or a stigma, when the style is absent.">sessile digestive glands which secrete enzymes to digest the prey. The production of two gland types is costly and density of these respective glands is correlated to environmental gradients.4
