- Provenance: Originally wild collected by David Deutsch of Vallejo, California: "...valley of the La Tchamba river (aka La Vallee de la Tchamba) in New Caledonia. It came from way, way upstream, where the river is a mere stream, and the trees literally line the banks. Although the area is somewhat disturbed, the trees are wild and not planted, and native to the area."
