    Bushy, twining vine with petiole or axis; also applied to how the lateral veins are arranged in relation to the main vein.">pinnate, evergreen foliage. Woody stemmed. Makes pink to red tubular fragrant flowers in warm weather. Moderate rate of growth. Evergreen in frost-free areas; perennial if roots are protected during heavy freezes, when it will die back to the ground.
