    The array of arched salmon to rose-pink or pale yellow bracts surrounding the white flowers of this attractive, evergreen shrub resemble a shrimp, hence its name. Reaching a height of 3 ft (1 m) and a spread of 24 in (60 cm), it flowers mainly in summer.

  • Culture: It can survive temperatures as low as 25F (-4C) by behaving like a perennial when the tops are frozen back. A weak, sprawling plant, it needs regular pruning.
